Grange over Sands' Barry Saunders, third from the left, has been installed as master of the Arthur John Brogden Lodge of Freemasons, he was joined by senior masonic figure Phil Gardner, on his right.
Mr Saunders has organised many social events within the lodge, resulting in several thousand pounds raised for local causes - amongst those to benefit from his actions is the hospice and the local brownies troop.
Mr Saunders said: "Charity is at the heart of our organisation which is the message I will be sending out during my year of office.
"As Freemasons we give to charity through our subscriptions and collections at meetings but it is pleasing that we have been able to do more for local good causes by organising fund raising events.”
