CONSERVATIVE candidate for Barrow and Furness has sent a video message as he heads to the election count.
Simon Fell shared the video with The Mail as he wraps up canvassing on election night.
All candidates will now head to Barrow Town Hall for the count.
At the last general election, in 2017, the result came in at around 2.45am.
In the video Mr Fell said: "It's been a really good campaign; thank you everyone who's turned out and who's voted for us.
"I'm hopeful we'll get over the line this time.
"We've been knocking on doors for four weeks and we've had nothing but a good response."
