VOTERS go to the polls today in one of the most unpredictable General Election in decades.
Polling stations across Furness, Copeland and South Lakeland open at 7am and close at 10pm.
In Barrow it appears to be a straight fight between Labour's Chris Altree and Conservative Simon Fell, who narrowly lost to former MP John Woodcock back in 2017.
Will Trudy Harrison retain the Copeland seat she gained back in 2017 and will former Liberal Democrat leader Tim Farron maintain his grip on the Westmorland and Lonsdale constituency.
We will have reporters at counts across the county bringing you the very latest from town halls.
Follow coverage throughout the night at www.nwemail.co.uk and see Saturday's paper for results, reaction and what it means for the country.
