A south Cumbrian solicitors has expanded its team.

Vivien Moules has joined the property team at Thomson Hayton Winkley .

Vivien, originally from Cumbria, joined the team in November expanding the property team to 15 people.

Vivien, who has a degree in modern languages, has previously worked in France for The Guardian newspaper, and various posts in London.

She retrained as a solicitor - specialising in conveyancing - and has subsequently worked in the Magistrates' Courts Service as a magistrates’ legal advisor.

She said: “I am delighted to be returning to an area of the law that I have always enjoyed, residential conveyancing.

"There is a well-established team here at Thomson Hayton Winkley and I’m thrilled to be joining a local firm with such a good heritage and reputation.”

Thomson Hayton Winkley employs around 70 staff and has offices in Kendal, Windermere, Grange, at the J36 North West Auction mart complex and in Kirkby Lonsdale.

The firm has departments dealing with legal issues including business, property, dispute resolution and family law.
