AN accomplished Lakes climber has successfully led a team across a new climbing route in the Amazon rain forest.
Leo Houlding led a team of six climbers plus two local guides across the overhanging Prow of Roraima in Guyana to Mount Roraima.
Mount Roraima is a 2,810m high tepui (flat top mountain) that sits on the border between Brazil, Venezuela and Guyana
Houlding, 39, a veteran of many major trips, was joined by 21-year-old Anna Taylor, experiencing her first big wall expedition, alongside Waldo Etherington, Wilson Cutbirth, Dan Howard and Matt Pycroft.
