A 21-year-old man has been banned from the roads for 22 months after admitting drink-driving.
Peter Michael McCullough, of Kennedy Road, Seaton, was also fined £242 by Workington magistrates.
The court heard McCullough was driving an Audi A1 on Eaglesfield Street, in Maryport on November 10 when the incident occurred.
He was found to have 82mcg of alcohol in 100ml of breath. The legal limit is 35mcg.
His ban could be reduced by 22 weeks if he successfully completes a drink-driver rehabilitation course.
McCullough also pleaded guilty to two further charges on the same date, using a motor vehicle without insurance and without the appropriate licence.
He was also ordered to pay costs of £85 and a £32 victim surcharge.
