A man has been banned from the roads for 20 months after being caught drink-driving.
Gary William Steel, 38, of North Watt Street, Workington pleaded guilty before Workington magistrates.
The court heard Steel was driving a Vauxhall Astra on November 14 at Flatt Walks, Whitehaven, when the incident occurred.
He was found to have 80mcg of alcohol in 100ml of breath. The legal limit is 35mcg.
Steel was also fined £120 and ordered to pay £85 costs and a £32 victim surcharge.
His ban could be reduced by 20 weeks if he successfully completes a drink-driver rehabilitation course.
