Driving with excess alcohol in his system has led to a ban for a Whitehaven man.
Arron Scott Lester, 46, of Colliers Way, pleaded guilty before Workington magistrates.
The court heard Lester was driving a Seat Alhambra on November 9 on High Road, Whitehaven, when the incident occurred.
He had 83mcg of alcohol in 100ml of breath. The legal limit is 35mcg.
Lester has been banned from driving for 20 months, fined £400 and must pay £85 costs and a £40 victim surcharge.
If he successfully completes a drink-driver rehabilitation course he could see his ban reduced by 20 weeks.
