Cumbrian folk singer Steve Wharton will be entertaining museum visitors with his winter stories and lyrical songs as the festive period gets into full swing.
Mr Wharton will be visiting The Beacon Musuem, in Whitehaven, on Tuesday, December 10 to feature in the museum’s monthly Talking Tuesday session.
Alan Irwin, business development manager at the Beacon Museum, was looking forward to his performance.
He said: “Not many performers can switch between raucous comedy and poignant ballads in the way that Steve does, and his performances are always West Cumbrian through and through.”
Tickets are £5 and guests can pay at the door.
All ages are welcome and entry includes hot drinks and light bites.
