A MOTORIST has been given a curfew and banned from driving after being caught drunk behind the wheel on the M6 in Cumbria.
Nigel Peter Scholes, 65, of Taddington, Derbyshire, pleaded guilty to drink-driving on the M6 at Tebay on November 7.
He provided a breath sample reading of 115 microgrammes of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breach.
The legal limit is 35 microgrammes.
He was given a 10-week curfew between 7pm and 7am, banned from driving for 28 months and told to pay £85 costs and a £90 surcharge.
