A 33-year-old has been charged in connection with an alleged knife-point robbery.
The incident occurred on Wednesday November, 27 on Telford Street in Barrow.
Sean Walker has been charged when an alleged taxi driver and passenger were threatened with a knife.
The Smeaton Street resident was accused of criminal damage and attempted robbery when he appeared at South Cumbria Magistrates' Court yesterday.
Walker,33, pleaded guilty to criminal damage but denied robbery. The case has been sent to trial at Preston Crown Court on January 2, 2020.
