BOSSES at a dental clinic have said they have found it 'virtually impossible' to recruit a dentist to their Barrow practice.
Alan Dawson responded on Twitter following a BBC News article which claimed 'seeing a dentist was a problem everywhere'.
Mr Dawson replied: "In parts of South Cumbria it has been virtually impossible to recruit a dentist for our Barrow-in-Furness practice.
"There is a chronic shortage of dentists nationwide, but it is impacting on certain areas of the country.
"The consequence are clawbacks for under performance."
