8 The Raiders will be facing a team of Barrow celebrities on Sunday’s charity football match for Children-in-Need.

This will be the first opportunity to see next year’s squad in a competitive game.

The event will also see a Guinness World Record attempt for the number of party hats in a ground.

Kick off will at at 1.30pm, with entry costing £3 for adults and £1 for children at Matt Johnson Prestige Stadium.

9 Join Furness Abbey Fellowship for a Christmas Fair at The Forum in Barrow tomorrow from 10.30am-2.30pm.

There will be a wide range of gifts and crafts to buy, with entry being 50p for adults and proceeds going towards their Medieval Fair.
