The access road on Walney
BOSSES at a caravan site on Walney are looking to improve flood defences.
South End Caravan Park has submitted an application to dig a 900mm culvert underneath an access road and build a bund to allow an existing watercourse to flow unobstructed.
The road provides access to the lighthouse, South Walney Nature Reserve and four other domestic properties. A decision will be made by November 28.
