A NEW healthy takeaway service operated by a Barrow restaurant has launched.

The One Takeaway and Delivery service run from the Custom House is aiming to deliver health food door-to-door.

The One Takeaway and Delivery service run from the Custom House is aiming to deliver healthy food door-to-door.

Twelve new roles have been created at the eaterie, with the takeaway service operating from the kitchen of the Custom House’s former One restaurant.

A menu of food, which includes items available from the Custom House, also has a number of healthy options as part of a new range catered towards fitness.

The CHoose range has seen the restaurant partner with gyms and personal trainers across the north west to sell food to clients on behalf of the restaurant.

Food is available to order through the Barrow Eats app.

Custom House owner Liam Quigley said: “We’re offering pizzas, chips, pastas, chicken wings - all tasty and delicious grub.

“Alongside this, we’ve got our ‘CHoose the Custom House’ range, which is healthier food, jacket potatoes, salads, soups, fish dishes - all really healthy options.

“We’re in partnership with various local, and as far as Blackpool gyms and personal trainers, who are selling on our behalf to their clients.

“People who sign up to our CHoose range receive discounts at the partnership gyms as well as discounts on bulk purchases.

“You can also sign up to weekly meal plans and get these delivered to your door.

“I’m really excited as there’s nothing like this in the town,
