THE Roxy Cinema in Ulverston is now showing live broadcasts.
The cinema has previously shown ‘encore’ performances of stage shows, plays and operas, but now thanks to the installation of new satellite equipment they are able to stream live broadcasts.
A live broadcast of 42nd Street - The Musical, will be showing on November 10 at 2.30pm and November 12 at 7.30pm.
The musical is described as one of Broadway’s most classic and beloved tales as it comes to the big screen in the largest every production of the show.
The musical tells the story of Peggy Sawyer, a talented young performer with stars in her eyes who gets her big break on Broadway.
Tickets to watch the show are £15 for adults and £12 concessions.
