POLICE have launched an investigation after a man was assaulted in Barrow by a group of unknown offenders.
An appeal has been launched after a man was assaulted by a group of offenders at the entrance to Egerton Court on Barrow Island.
The incident took place between 11pm and 11.30pm on Sunday October 13.
The victim was left with serious injuries following the attack.
Anyone with information about the assault should call 101 or ring Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
