LEYE D Johns is celebrating his 35th anniversary in the entertainment industry by returning to his home town for a very special performance.

One of Blackpool’s most well-known comedians and showmen, Barrow born Leye is the joint owner of entertainment venue Viva Blackpool and is also the front man and host for a number of the venue’s most popular shows, including the Jersey Beats and The Viva Vegas Variety Show.

The former Parkview School pupil kicked off his entertainment career treading the boards in the town's wonderful world of amateur dramatics.

However, Leye’s road to bigger shows and performances began when he was spotted while working as an entertainer in Tenerife. Local comedian George King asked him to perform at one Blackpool’s leading venues of the time, the Alabama Showboat and from there Leye’s career took off big style.

Since, Leye has been a host and comedian for some of the biggest venues in the UK and also toured Europe, including being a comedy support act for international stars like the much loved Joe Longthorne.

The show will be a mix of stand up from Leye, with Vegas style variety acts, including acrobatics, dance and music.
