THE spotlight is turned on Ulverston's special buildings this weekend in the latest in a series of talks at the Coronation Hall.
Saturday lectures by local historians, hosted by the Friends of the Coronation Hall, are held from 1pm to 2pm in the hall's supper room.
This Saturday's talk by David Fellows is called A Closer Look at Ulverston and uses architectural clues to look at the town's buildings.
Refreshmemnts are available and admission is £5, or £4 for card-carrying members of the Friends of the Coronation Hall.
On November 2 Ulverston-based archaeologist Dan Elsworth is the speaker and his topic is An Archaeologist's View of the Hoad.
The speaker on November 16 is Colin Pickthall with the topic of John Bolton of Urswick - A Geologist in the age of Charles Darwin.
