THE Post Office has reached out to residents of a town with no banks to say its branches now offer everyday banking services.

Grange's last bank Lloyds' closed in August to the distress of residents who were left with other physical banks.

A spokesman said: "Post Office branches remain at the heart of communities across the UK, including those where bank branches no longer exist.

"Access to cash is important for every community and Grange is no exception." Barclays Bank will stop operating at Post Offices next year.
