NOMINATIONS close tomorrow for people to have their say on which Cumbrian landmarks should appear on a new edition of Monopoly.
Places from across the county - with 30 replacing the London streets that starred in the original - will feature on a Lake District-inspired version of the classic board game.
And three of the famous community chest places will go to charities from Cumbria.
“This is our way of thanking the public for getting behind the game so enthusiastically,” said George Shrimpton, custom games executive at Winning Moves UK, makers of the new game under license from Hasbro.
To qualify, the charities must he Lakes focussed and registered with the Charities Commission, he added.
