DISPLAYS of anchors designed by the community, schools, shop and business will line the canal tow path from today until October 29.
The theme is “Over The Water”, as Ulverston Canal Regeneration Group are highlighting the refurbished Rolling Bridge.
UCRG have been working hard to save the old 'Rolling Bridge' from disintegrating.
It is the only one of its kind in this country and an interactive information station will be installed tomorrow to show how it used to work.
There will be more than 70 designs on display and the trail will feature bridges from around the world, hidden on 12 of the anchor sculptures.
This is to celebrate the work that has been done so people can see the work done to tidy up the listed structure.
Trail sheets are available for a £1 donation from Appleseeds, Bay Horse Hotel, the Laurel and Hardy Museum, Northern Line, and the Premier Inn.
