FIREFIGHTERS were called out after a fire started in a house in Barrow.
Two fire crews were called to Nelson Street at 9.03pm on Sunday night.
The incident involved a cooker fire and the occupant had managed to get out of the property before crews arrived.
Firefighters used two breathing apparatus and one hose reel jet to extinguish the fire. They returned to the station after 27 minutes.
