1 Les McKeown of the Bay City Rollers is heading to The Forum, Barrow, this Saturday at 7.30pm.

2 Roxy Cinema in Ulverston is showing a screening of the classic July Garland film The Wizard of Oz this weekend to mark the film’s 80th anniversary. The viewing will start at 2:30pm on both Saturday and Sunday.

3 Ulverston’s Got Soul Presents: The Northern Soul Train hits the town this Saturday, with support from DJ Shamus at The Coro, Ulverston, 8pm.

The event is a soul and motown dance night, featuring a live band and DJ, there will also be a large dance floor for dancing, with tables and chairs around the edge and a bar will be open throughout.

4 The Newton Arms in Dalton is hosting its first ever family charity fun show and race night in aid of alzheimers and dementia.

5 JD King will be returning to the Beggar’s Theatre in Millom by popular demand to perform his show, Elvis the Legend.

6 Shout singer Lulu is returning to The Forum in Barrow tonight at 7:30pm.

Celebrating 55 years since the release of the debut smash hit single ‘Shout’, Lulu’s ‘On Fire’ tour will see the Grammy-nominated singer play 35-dates across the UK.

Tickets are £40 for premium tickets and £35 for standard plus booking fee.

7 The Coro, Ulverston will welcome The Moonbeats to perform tonight at 7:30pm.

The band are described as the hottest 1960’s tributes bands on the scene right now.

They will be performing hits from iconic bands such as The Who and The Beatles.

8 Andrew Lloyd Webber and Don Black’s Tell Me on a Sunday is a one woman show that’s heading to the Old Laundry Theatre in Bowness.
