A WOMAN from Barrow has been arrested after two men hoping to meet escorts were robbed at knifepoint.
On Monday September 30 a man had arranged to meet a female escort in Liverpool when he was approached by two men who were both carrying knives.
The yobs threatened the man and drove him to an ATM where he was forced to withdraw cash.
The offenders were wearing dark clothing and wearing face coverings.
A second incident in the evening of Sunday October 6 saw another man arrange a meeting with a female escort in the Kirkby area.
The victim parked his car and was approached by three unknown males who threatened him.
After a struggle with the offenders the victim ran off on foot, but the thieves managed to steal a quantity of cash.
A 51-year-old man from Kirkby , a 43-year-old man from Kirkby and a 38-year-old woman from Barrow-in-Furness were arrested on suspicion of robbery.
