Simon Rogan's restaurant awarded two Michelin stars
A RENOWNED restaurant located in the South Lakes village of Cartmel has been awarded a prestigious accolade.
L'Enclume has received two Michelin stars for its 'well-balanced' and 'perfectly paced tasting menu'.
The Michelin's Guide Point of View wrote: "This characterful old smithy in a sleepy Lakeland village is a destination in itself.
"16 or so courses make up the well-balanced, perfectly paced tasting menu and produce from their farm guides the fiercely seasonal dishes, which are passionately prepared, innovative and full of interest."
Simon Rogan's restaurant shared the announcement on their Facebook page thanking the Michelin guide and most importantly, its wonderful team.
