Police and ambulance crews were called to a two car crash on a road south of Carlisle.
Emergency services were called at about 4.30pm on Sunday to the crash involving a Ford Kuga and an MG TF.
Crews were called to the A6 near Coomara Veterinary Practice.
A 66-year-old woman from Penrith - who was driving the Ford car - was taken to the Cumberland Infirmary.
Her injuries were described as minor by police.
The driver of the MG - a 69-year-old man from Penrith - was uninjured.
