Road closed
One lane has been closed on the M6 due to a crash.
A lorry is involved in a crash on the northbound carriageway between J39 and J40.
Traffic is said to be coping well.
A Highways England tweet said: "Lane 1 is closed on the M6 J39 (Shap A6) to J40 (Penrith A66) due to a collision.
"We are on scene and dealing. Please slow down and obey the signals. Thank you."
