A conservation workshop will take place at the start of next month to educate the public on red squirrels and how they can help protect them before it is too late.
ThE event has been organised by the Lake District Foundation as part of their #Savereds campaign.
It hopes to raise £20,000 to fund vital equipment such as squirrel-only feeders, monitoring cameras, and thermal imaging cameras to improve the preservation of these animals.
Rothay Manor Hotel in Ambleside is hosting the event.
