A DALTON man has been told to pay more than £1,700 after causing damage to an Alfa Romeo.
Andrew Michie, of King Street, pleaded guilty to causing criminal damage and a public order offence when he appeared at South Cumbria Magistrates' Court on Wednesday.
The 44-year-old admitted causing damage to the value of £1,776 to an Alfa Romeo Giulietta belonging to Gary Kidson.
Michie was given a 12-month conditional discharge and ordered to pay £1,776 in compensation to Mr Kidson which he must pay at a rate of £100 per month.
