CAMPAIGN: Dalton residents at the play park
A QUIZ night raised funds towards a campaign to restore a much-loved playground.
Dalton Cricket Club’s monthly quiz raised £106 for the Bring Back Storey Square Park group.
Play equipment from the Dalton park was removed last year due to budget cuts enforced by Barrow Borough Council.
A dedicated team of fundraisers are attempting to raise enough to buy new play equipment for the park.
They have worked with playground designers Playdale to come with a plan for the park.
The Storey Square Park committee group is trying to raise enough money to register as a charity, with £5,000 needed to start off with.
