TEACHERS got soaked by school pupils as part of a special charity day.
Dalton St Mary’s C of E Primary School pupils and took part in the Soak a Teacher challenge.
It came as the school held a coffee morning in aid of Macmillan Cancer Support.
On the soaking, the school said: “What a way to end an amazing day.
“The soak a teacher challenge was better than ever this year.
“All in aid of raising money for the wonderful Macmillan Cancer Support.”
The school has a number of events coming up on its calendar.
On Wednesday October 2 it will be holding a Harvest Festival Service at 10am.
The service is being led by the Year 5 children this year.
The school has also announced it will be supporting Barrow Food Bank.
It is accepting donations of tins and packets into school from today through to harvest.
Donations can be brought and given to the class teacher or brought directly to the office.
