BARROW Comedy Fest is set to take place this week.
There will be a string of comedy events at various venues across Barrow.
The festival has been put together by Barrow BID and Laughing Penguin Events.
The comedy will run from Thursday until Sunday, October 3-6.
The main night will be at The Forum on the Friday (October 4), featuring five of the best comedians on the circuit.
All proceeds from the festival will go to support a number of local charities doing great things in the community.
These charities are The Well Communities, Barrow and District Disability Association and YouthAbility.
The comedians performing on the night include Justin Moorhouse, who has made appearances on Live At The Apollo, Peter Kay’s Phoenix Nights, 8 Out of 10 Cats, as well as Robert White, who was a runner-up in Britain’s Got Talent 2018, and is going from strength to strength, securing a dedicated following of fans .
