Fire crews rescue person from Barrow reservoir
Fire crews were called to Ormsgill reservoir after a child became stuck in the mud.
Crews from Walney, Barrow and Ulverston all attended the incident at around 1:40pm and were able to help the individual following a perimeter search.
The person did not require medical attention so Ambulance and police stood down.
A spokesman from Walney Fires Station saif: "This highlights the ever present dangers of areas of water even in warm weather."
