A MOTORIST has been banned from driving for 18 months.
Alfred Kwaku Bullah, of Gilbert Road in Bexley, pleaded guilty to drink-driving when he appeared at South Cumbria Magistrates' Court on Wednesday.
The 44-year-old provided a breath reading of 63 microgrammes in 100 millilitres of breath when he was stopped driving a Mercedes on the A595 at Silecroft.
The legal limit is 35 microgrammes.
Bullah was disqualified from driving for 18 months and fined £196.
He was also ordered to pay £85 costs and a £32 victim surcharge.
