A BARROW man has pleaded guilty to a breach of his sex offender notification requirements.
Lee Deelay, 33, of Thrums Street, Barrow, plead guilty to breaching his sex offender notification requirements on Friday September 20, at Preston Crown Court.
The breach was related to an undisclosed passport.
He will be sentenced on the 25th October at Preston Crown Court.
Deelay was convicted of two counts of sexual assault in 2009.
He was jailed for 12 months and put on the register for 10 years.
He was also told he must attend the police station annually
In May 2016 he evaded a jail term after a “deliberate act” of failing to stick to the terms of the sex offender register, he was also charged with being drunk and disorderly.
He admitted failing to comply with notification requirements of the sex offender register between December 14, 2015 and January 14 and was given a nine-week suspended sentence and electronically tagged for seven weeks.
He was also told he had to pay a victim surcharge of £8, and was fined £40 for being drunk and disorderly.
That same year he was jailed after pleading guilty to attacking hospital staff at Furness General Hospital.
Deelay had assaulted one member of staff at and used threatening words or behaviour towards another on September 13.
e was jailed for a total of 13 weeks. Magistrates said the offences justified a jail term because it happened at night on hospital premises and Deelay was drunk at the time.
