Zest Community Action Group has confirmed the opening day for the Roundhouse Hub and Cafe.
The new hub and cafe will open on Friday September 27 at 10am.
The first event at the hub will be a Macmillan Coffee Morning.
Matt Blackburn, Operations Manager at ZEST said: “We are working hard to get as much as we can done before the Macmillan Coffee Morning, however we have a big job on our hands transforming this neglected building.
"We are currently renovating from top to bottom and inside and out and this work is being done by myself and fantastic volunteers.
"I’m sure you will agree when entering the building, the transformation from dark and dull to bright and modern is amazing.
“Some of the works we cannot complete in time for the coffee morning, we are hoping, all works will be completed before Christmas, fingers crossed."
