THE date has been set for when Barrow's Boots pharmacy will move to a new super surgery.
A Boots pharmacy is due to make up part of the new Alfred Barrow Health Centre on Duke Street.
And the Dalton Road pharmacy is due to move to the new £12m complex on October 11.
The shop will close on October 10.
The official opening of the health centre, on the site of the former Alfred Barrow School, is being planned for the end of October or beginning of November and will be marked with a celebratory event.
It will encompass a number of existing surgeries in Barrow as well as a host of other local health services.
