A FORMER bartender has been given a conditional discharge for causing criminal damage.
Macauley Renshaw had previously worked at the Mortal Man Inn at Troutbeck.
The 21-year-old, of School Knott Drive in Windermere, pleaded guilty to damaging a table worth £49 at the hotel on August 26 when he appeared at South Cumbria Magistrates' Court on Wednesday.
Renshaw now works at another hotel.
He was given a 12-month conditional discharge, ordered to pay £49 compensation, £85 costs and a £21 victim surcharge.
