A BARROW man is due to appear in court accused of driving while under the influence of cocaine.
Liam Si Minnican, of Mill Bank, has been charged with driving when the proportion of a controlled drug exceeded the specified limit.
The 22-year-old is accused of driving an Audi A3 in Barrow on March 25 with 88 microgrammes of cocaine metabolite benzoylecgonine per litre of blood.
The legal limit is 50 microgrammes per litre of blood.
Minnican has been granted unconditional bail and is due to appear at South Cumbria Magistrates' Court on September 25.
