A WOMAN received a driving ban after being stopped while over the drink drive limit.
Lyndsay Claire Marsden appeared at South Cumbria Magistrates’ Court on September 11 and pleaded guilty to driving over the limit.
The 57-year-old, of Bigland Estate in Haverthwaite, was stopped nearby on August 26.
She was said to have had 48 microgrammes of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath.
Marsden was sentenced to a fine of £300, banned from driving for 14 weeks and told to pay a £32 victim surcharge and £85 costs.
