FORD Park has been awarded an ‘Outstanding’ certificate in this year’s Cumbria in Bloom Awards.

The Ulverston team received an ‘It’s Your Neighbourhood Award of Level Fiv outstanding’ rating by the Cumbria in Bloom board.

The community group released a statement saying: “Top work by the team and a special mention to our brilliant and dedicated volunteers, who work together in all weathers to ensure the park looks attractive and offers a beautiful green space for everyone to use.”

The charity Ford Park Community Group aims to enhance the quality of life for the people of Ulverston and the surrounding area.
