THE finishing touches were being made yesterday on a railway footbridge which has been out of use for several months.
Work on the Victorian link between the two platforms at Millom station had been due to be completed by the end of June.
A team of painters were finishing the the cream and green finish to the columns and staircases at lunchtime on Friday.
The main section of the bridge was put back in place a month ago after being taken away for restoration work - but the stairways have remained out of public use.
