WITH the new term under way a Barrow primary school has welcomed a new teacher.
St Pius X Catholic Primary School welcomes Miss Mallinson who has been appointed as their new Nursery Teacher until the end of term.
A spokesperson from St Pius X Catholic Primary School said: “Mrs Sadler, previously Miss Carter, is hoping to return to school after October half term on phased return.
“She will return full time in the spring term.
“She has been in this week helping with nursery and it was lovely to see her.”
In other school news the new school app is now up and running. Users have been advised to use the links section of the app for access to all the websites needed.
The calendar section will be updated over the weekend.
The Friends of St Pius X Catholic Primary School are also organising a sponsored walk on September 19.
