HOMEOWNERS in South Cumbria are being asked to give their views on the health and social care priorities in Morecambe Bay.
As part of a five-year plan the Bay Health and Care Partners have also set out the challenges, including reducing the £500,000 per-month cost of patients not attending appointments.
An example of the priorities in discussion include improving cancer treatment targets for health care.
A representative of the Partners said: "We're asking for views on our next steps for the local long-term future for health and social care services in the Morecambe Bay area.
"This also links to the long-term plan for the NHS, which has set national priorities and the regional plans for the whole of South Cumbria.
