CROWDS of music lovers will descend on Dalton this weekend for a packed festival schedule of band.
One of the best-loved independent festivals in Furness, Dogfest is arriving tomorrow at a pub in the town.
The all-day live music festival showcases talented bands and musicians from the local music scene and established acts from throughout the UK.
The event, which is being held at the Black Dog Inn, Broughton Road, Dalton, will also feature Furness foursome Riot Androids and headline act Alabama 3 Acoustic.
Other bands playing at the festival include Novatines, Sixteen12, The Lutras, Ruff Trade, Grand Central Groove, Sunhouse Blues, and Silver Bars.
The annual festival will see the performing artists entertaining the crowds from 12pm and with free admission for under 14s. There will be a ‘kids activity area’ for little ones to enjoy.
