A DRIVE to break the taboo of mental health through physical is due to return.

Beat the Stigma, a series of boxing and fitness classes, will return to a community boxing club following a successful first run.

The classes were organised by mental health campaigner Dan Webber alongside Paul Ryan, of the Furness Catholic Amateur Boxing Club.

After a run once a week in July, there are more session scheduled in September.

Sessions involved exercises including skipping, using the punch bag and one-on-one training.

The fitness classes will take place between 8pm and 9pm every Tuesday throughout the month at the Dalkeith Street boxing club.

Mr Webber has raised thousands for mental health charity Mind under his Kick Off 4 fundraising initiative.
