A CHARITY is inviting the public to become a part of its quarter of a million pounds expansion plans.
The Barrow & District Disability Association (BDDA) has raised £3,845 towards its £120,000 goal through its build-a-brick donations.
However, now the charity needs your help to raise the remainder of its fundraising goal.
Earlier this year, the charity received an unexpected cheque of £96,000 from a mother of one of the disabled members.
The organisation plans on converting the former Identities building, which sits adjacent to the current BDDA site, into a larger facility.
You can purchase an imaginary brick for £1 each, receive a certificate of purchase and have your name printed on an imaginary ‘brick wall’.
