AN artist is showcasing his work at an Ulverston exhibition for the very first time.
Retired teacher Christopher Stones has painted his whole life.
Now, nearly 80, his paintings and drawings, which reflect a lifetime of travel and discovery, fill his house in Ulverston from top to bottom.
Mr Stones is showcasing his wide breadth of artwork for the first time at Ulverston's new, up-and-coming art studio: Ulverston Art House.
Ulverston Art House, is a studio and exhibition space based in Lightburn House, previously the old Social services building next door to the Roxy Cinema in Brogden Street.
The exhibition will present a selection of the artist's work for three days, between from Friday August 30 until Sunday September 1.
The studio will be open from 10am until 7pm each day.
