Nicky Royle of The Red Lion in Dalton
A PUB has closed its doors to punters.
The Red Lion pub in Dalton is set to be left empty as the landlord and landlady move on after five years behind the bar.
Nicky and Dru Royle said they would miss running the pub, owned by the Greene King brewery, but moved on at the end of their tenancy, citing a ‘struggling’ pub industry.
